This document defines the functional and architectural requirements of the facility and is sometimes included as part of the initial System Proposal or Contract package prepared by Marketing/Sales.

        Important Note for 2110 Projects:

        In ST 2110 deployments, the Program Document is rarely truly optional. It is one of the highest-leverage documents in the entire project.

Typical Content

Number and purpose of each room / control space
Expected number of users and staff per room
Architectural and environmental requirements (lighting, flooring, acoustic treatment, HVAC capacity, etc.)
High-level equipment and workflow needs for each space
Operational considerations that will drive the technical design

Process

The Program Document must be formally submitted to the client for review, comment, and written sign-off before detailed engineering design begins.
